Coaching Terms
Effective date: March 1, 2026
1. HitnMis's Role
HitnMis is a platform that connects coaches and players. We provide the tools for coaches to list their services, set availability, and receive bookings — and for players to discover and book sessions.
HitnMis is not a party to any individual coaching agreement. We do not supervise, guarantee the quality of, or take responsibility for the content of any coaching session. Coaches are independent service providers, not employees, contractors, or agents of HitnMis.
2. Coach Eligibility and Listings
To offer coaching services on HitnMis, you must:
- Have a verified HitnMis account in good standing
- Provide accurate information about your skill level, rank, and experience
- Accurately describe what each coaching session includes
- Set realistic availability and honor confirmed bookings
- Be at least 18 years old, or have parental/guardian consent and supervision
Misrepresenting your credentials, rank, or services is grounds for immediate removal from the coaching marketplace and may result in a platform ban.
3. Session Scheduling and Confirmation
Sessions are confirmed when both the coach and player have agreed on a time slot and any required payment has been processed. A booking is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation notification from HitnMis.
Coaches are expected to:
- Keep their availability calendar up to date
- Confirm or decline booking requests within 24 hours
- Show up on time for confirmed sessions
- Notify the player as early as possible if they need to reschedule
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
4.1 Cancellation by Coach
- More than 24 hours before session: Coach may cancel with no penalty. Player receives a full refund if payment was collected.
- Less than 24 hours before session: Coach should make every effort to reschedule. Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in removal from the marketplace.
- No-show by coach: Player receives a full refund. Three no-shows may result in permanent removal from the coaching marketplace.
4.2 Cancellation by Player
- More than 24 hours before session: Player may cancel for a full refund.
- Less than 24 hours before session: Refund eligibility is at the coach's discretion. Coaches may retain up to 50% of the session fee for late cancellations.
- No-show by player: Coach retains the full session fee.
All cancellation and refund disputes should be submitted via a Discord support ticket within 7 days of the scheduled session. HitnMis staff will review disputes and make a final determination.
5. Payments
Coaches set their own rates. All prices displayed on HitnMis are in USD unless otherwise stated.
Payment processing is handled by third-party payment providers. By making or receiving payment through HitnMis, you agree to the terms of the relevant payment processor. HitnMis is not responsible for errors, delays, or failures in third-party payment systems.
Coaches are responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes on income received through coaching sessions.
6. Session Conduct
During coaching sessions, all participants must:
- Adhere to the HitnMis Code of Conduct at all times
- Treat each other with professionalism and respect
- Conduct sessions in the game(s) or format agreed upon at booking
- Not request or share personal contact information for purposes outside of coaching
Coaches may not use sessions to promote other platforms, recruit clients away from HitnMis, or engage in any activity unrelated to the coaching service listed.
7. Session Recordings
Coaches or players may record sessions only with the explicit consent of all participants before the session begins. Recordings may not be:
- Shared publicly without the consent of all participants
- Used for commercial purposes without a separate written agreement
- Used to harass, embarrass, or defame any participant
8. Reviews and Feedback
After a completed session, players may leave a review of the coach. Reviews must be honest and based on the actual session experience. HitnMis reserves the right to remove reviews that are false, defamatory, or in violation of the Code of Conduct.
Coaches may not solicit, manipulate, or offer incentives for reviews.
9. Disputes
If a dispute arises between a coach and player, either party should open a support ticket in our Discord within 7 days of the session. Provide as much detail as possible, including:
- Date and time of the scheduled session
- Description of the issue
- Any relevant screenshots or evidence
HitnMis staff will review the dispute and make a final decision. By using the platform, you agree to accept the outcome of this dispute resolution process.
10. Removal from Coaching Marketplace
HitnMis may remove a coach from the marketplace at any time for reasons including:
- Violations of these Coaching Terms or the Code of Conduct
- Repeated cancellations or no-shows
- Misrepresentation of credentials or services
- Sustained negative reviews indicating poor or dishonest coaching
- Any behavior deemed harmful to players or the HitnMis community
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Coaching Terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be announced in our Discord. Continued use of HitnMis coaching features after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
